Jiang cheng has taken over the family restaurant after his parents retire. His decision was surprising because his parents always thought his sister would be the one taking over, as she was the one who showed interest in cooking.
He used to watch his sister and mother cook, until one day he eventually try to help and find it fun, relaxing even. From then on he started to polish his skills, not only in cooking but also in managing business.
Though he work hard as he could, his parents didn't give him the attention he crave for. His father focused his attention on his adoptive brother instead, and his mother busy being angry about his father's decision.
Jiang cheng always have a love-hate relationship with his brother. As much as he loves his company, it's very rare of him to say it out loud. The past made him feel extremely insecure against his brother. Towards his sister, however, jiang cheng is a baby. He loves her very much as she was the one who always give him support, scold him when needed, and teach him everything he needs.
After being single for most of his life, he stumbled upon Huaisang's cam and nudes, become his big fan and adore his personality after finding out that he has a blog. He was dumb though, because he didn't remember that Huaisang is his brother's close friend.
This lead to wei wuxian teasing him, making the three of them meet over lunch, and jiang cheng panicking as he saw his crush in real life. Running away with the most horrible excuse: "i have diarrhea".
